In another, I noted that I was entirely undecided on a major but I played up well-roundedness and interest in many disparate subjects. In the third essay, I answered the prompt “What intrigues you?” with genealogy (something that tells the officer a lot about what I like/believe/hope to learn/enjoy).
[] Teacher Recommendation: They were great!!! Drama director wrote a very personal rec that highlighted character traits. Calculus teacher also wrote one, though I haven’t read it.
[] Counselor Rec: I wasn’t able to read it but I asked a counselor that knew me very well personally.
[] Interview: The interview seemed to go very well. It felt natural and the officer was very friendly and responsive. I tried to highlight my international interest and ability to mold quickly to new environments.
