it said that you will hear from them before January 20th. So there isn’t anything to try and gauge, really. Today is the 9th so it’s possible to hear any time soon

semester starts the 28th. It sucks because I’ve been accepted for about a month and only got my advisor for selecting classes a few days ago. The class selection is rough because a lot of the classes that would work well with my schedule are already filled up.
Wouldn’t most of the classes be online though so why do you feel inconvenienced?

I didn’t apply for financial aid. Yes, the classes are online but I’m coming in with an associates degree so a significant amount of core classes I’ve already completed and so many other classes that I could take are either already filled or have prerequisites that I’m not sure if I can take at the same time. It’s rough adding classes that can go towards my degree. It doesn’t help that I’m having trouble contacting my advisor so that the hold can be lifted. I’m very stressed when I see that classes that work schedule wise have a waitlist the next morning.
Isn’t it easier to make the classes work for online ones though?

do you guys think that the chances of being rejected off the waitlist are high as of now? They said they’ll let us know by January 20th but school starts the 29th. so i’m wondering, are 9 days enough to register for classes and etc ?
I think they’re waiting to see how many kids return before they can figure out how many transfers to accept

I think those who hear earlier have a better chance but overall random.
