NYU Stern chances

Hello!
I am trying to transfer to Stern from a foreign university. I study International Business and I’ve applied to Global Business. Furthermore, I must mention that I am a permanent resident, so I have also applied for financial aid.

Background:
-International Transfer Student
-Female
-Latina

Stats:

  • High School GPA: 3.3/4.0
  • University GPA: 3.7/4.0
  • 1 Letter of Recommendation from a University Professor
  • Ranking in the Business Faculty at Home University: 43 out of 1239 students
  • Dean’s List x4 semesters
  • SAT Score: 1350 (Math: 650, Evidence-Based Reading and Writing: 700)
  • TOEFL IBT Score: 112

ECs:

  • Volunteer Interpreter / Translator at the World Badminton Championship in 2015
  • Volunteer Translator for Trommons, the online platform of the Rosetta Foundation
  • Volunteer at the National Elections in Peru
  • Volunteer at fundraisers for people with cancer
  • Member of the Ambassadors Club at my university, which aimed at helping international students in Peru

Additional information:

  • I speak 5 languages fluently (Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, and Italian) and have basic command of other three languages (German, Japanese, and Russian)
  • Was awarded the “Excellence Scholarship” by the Peruvian-British Cultural Association when I was 16 years old after receiving an A in an international exam. This scholarship consisted in studying English in London with all the expenses paid.
  • Was also one of the two people from the United States who were selected as Young Ambassadors of the
ExpoFrance 2025 candidacy - only 100 individuals from over 60 countries were chosen for this position.

I’m concerned because I was a mediocre student in high school. Although I never failed a course, I did not perform at my best; hence my GPA was a 3.3. However, I put a lot more effort at university and got a 3.7 GPA.

Let me know if you think I have a good shot! I believe my essay to be strong. Good luck to everyone!

Not good imo. Sat score is low for their average of around 1480. However, I don’t know how much they weigh the sat for transfer students.
