<p>So, my dream school is NYU. For financial aid reasons my parents would not let me apply Early Decision, but NYU is most likely where I will end up if I get in. So begs the question: Will I get in, and more importantly, which way will be the most effective way of getting there?
I would ideally like like to major in drama, specifically at the Music Theater studio. However, Tisch is all or nothing and I really don't want to sacrifice NYU for a musical theater program. Here are my stats:
GPA: 90.65 (I go to a magnet school, and while our grades are unweighted they are all at an honors level.)
SATs: 2050
Class Rank: N/A</p>
<p>Would I be better off going for Tisch, or applying to CAS in the hopes of tranferring to Tisch as a sophomore?</p>
