YES! Bill Kroyer talked to us for a long time. He said they are putting in first-class animation facilities and a green screen room. I will post a bit more about our visit later on the parents forum. For now, I will say that we were extremely impressed by the focus, talent and team work evident at Dodge. The quality of the student works shared was far beyond expectation. We were struck by the passion and personal investment of the faculty. That dedication, enthusiasm and laser focus was mirrored in the 10 digital arts students we met. The degree of intensive work ethic and cross-dept collaboration was extraordinary. And what I loved most was that the DA dept was not ‘putting on a show.’ It was transparent and very earnest, not bombastic or particularly calculated. The day was so wonderful–it sold our son, and us, on Dodge and we’re not looking back.

EDIT of bungled post #19: “I’ve traveled widely AND SPENT my 20’s in Manhattan.” LOL. I should give up doing all my CC posting via iPhone.

S-fan and Glad!!! I am thrilled to read that both of your kids are choosing Dodge! My S signed on earlier this month. Alas, we couldn’t go to Admitted Students Day; S is on the varsity baseball team and pitched Friday night. Getting to OC on a late Friday flight would have made for a very expensive quickie trip. But, since he’d already decided to go to Chapman, he didn’t feel he needed further convincing. Congratulations to both of you!

Hooray!! Congratulations to S-fan, G-bird, and SJR!!! That’s great news to hear your kids have decided to attend Chapman! Welcome to the Chapman Family!
This brings back some very fond memories. It’s hard to believe that DS will be a junior next year already. Where did the time go? You are embarking on an exciting new journey together, as a family. Your kids will thrive. Chapman University is truly an incredible place. Fantastic facilities and resources. Be sure to check out their web page for new families and get connected. Best wishes to all!
