<p>Hey everyone! I am interest in screenwriting, so I am applying to NYU's Dramatic Writing program. I was wondering if anyone (preferably a recent alumni) can tell me their thoughts on the program? I have read that most Film programs (in other schools) have their students take screenwriting courses, so I was wondering if it would be more beneficial to major in film (because then you learn film and writing) than in dramatic writing? Does the dramatic writing program allow you to take some film classes too? Please give me as much information as you can about the Dramatic Writing program at tisch vs. going to any other school for writing or film. Thank you! I really appreciate it!</p>
