I think I’m gonna prepare to hear back in early(ish) May. Because normally once all documents are received, it takes 2-3 weeks for a decision (generally speaking for college admissions). And since I just got the checklist disappearing about two days ago, I’m going to take it as a good sign that they are reviewing my application. Obviously I hope I get my decision sooner, but just don’t want to be anxious every day lol.

Dangit. Was hoping some of you guys would report decisions today. 
they emailed saying my application was missing credentials. i think its my high school transcript but i sent it through parchment months ago and it has been downloaded? anyone else having this problem?
Should i upload my mid term report even if they haven’t requested it from me lmao

Does anyone know if they’ve ever released decisions on a Saturday? They’re admissions office is open until 4 today so I’m just curious
Decisions are usually never released on weekends, it’s always been Monday to Friday
do they look at apps in order of when it was marked as completed?
Tbh I don’t think they do. Looking at previous threads, there were many people who applied the day of deadline and got their decisions before those who submitted them much earlier
no I have not. I actually got an email saying my app was incomplete but idk why. When I go to the portal it says they have all of the documents? I emailed them so we’ll see what they say I guess but that was weird because the checklist is gone.

If NYU is in the running or your first choice of your known decisions then you may have to submit your deposit to hold your spot. Might also be worth it if housing is a concern as well. It’s extremely frustrating that the transfer admit timelines are so uncoordinated!

Mine says that as well. I think everyones who said that their checklist disappeared also has that message instead of the checklist being there.

Check the list of all the thing that the admission office has received. It is possible that their admission system automatically categorize your high school transcript as college transcript, so the status for your high school grade is still “awaiting”.
