NYU vs. BU

I think i just killed this thread with that bad joke

I loved that joke

Your joke really made me smile, Nick. (Our first BU joke!)

Just as I smiled real big when you wrote “you, sir, are the bomb diggity” to Tranquil’s son.

I love this CC forum because there are such cool people here who express themselves so creatively.

It’s been very quiet the last few days, I guess because so many people have made their decisions and are taking a little time to just…breathe.

agreed!

I keep thinking about BU and how excited I am to go and meet back up with some of my best friends who are also in the acting program, but i ALSO keep thinking about NYU! I keep second guessing my decision! I know financially that it was the right choice, but I keep thinking about NYU’s repuation and the fact that I still would rather be in NY. When I tell people where I am going they have no clue of what Bu’s theatre program is like… and it’s weird. Someone comfort me!!!1

BU is a terrific school, and Boston a great, vital, theatre city. It is natural to “second guess”, but you were really in a win/ win if you were deciding between BU and NYU …

People don’t really know what ANY program is like unless they have been there. You made the choice you thought was best for you, and financial fit is part of the equation :)… focus on the excitement of starting BU in the fall! Congrats on deciding between two great programs!!

Don’t worry, Becca. I’m going to BU in the fall for theatre, and I think you made the right choice. :)
