<p>I applied ED to NYU Tisch for film last week. Can anybody tell me my shot for getting in (based off stats alone--obviously my film stuff can't be reviewed here in depth).</p>

<p>UW GPA: 3.6</p>

<p>Rank: Top 25%</p>

<p>SATs: 680 CR, 650 M, 720 W (or 2050 m/cr/w and 1330 m/cr)</p>

<p>Schedule: All Honors/AP Freshman-Junior Year except math. Senior Year schedule is hardest possible with 6 APs (Art History, Government, Human Geography, Physics, Biology, English Lit) and an Honors course. I also have taken Statistics at the local CC and received an A. I am currently taking Calculus I and Intro. to Logic there in addition to my regular course work.</p>

<p>ECs: I started my own film company with my friends and we've developed several projects. Additionally, I have been the president of the National History Day club for two years and last year I directed a film for it which advanced to the state level. I am also a part of the school newspaper as a columnist and technical supervisor (this year and last year). Last summer I had a full time job and am working about 20 hours during the school year.</p>

<p>Important Note: I have had a huge upward trend; my freshman year uw was 3.0 and in my Sophomore and Junior years, I've only gotten Bs in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics (obviously I'm not a science-math person). My uw GPA for sophomore/junior year combined is 3.8 (more credits in those years though, luckily).</p>

<p>How do my academics/ecs look?</p>

<p>GPA a bit low, but since you're applying to Tisch & you started your own film company, that's pretty good. I'd say slight reach.</p>

Its low for stern, but only for stern.</p>

<p>Kid A is a pretty great album (and cool song). But I think I prefer OK Computer myself.</p>
