Hello guys! Even though I’m not an applicant for this year, I just need to clarify this matter. Hope you guys will help me. I saw some of you telling that you’ve not submitted any neither SAT scores nor other standardized test scores. I have many EC (most of them are international) but didn’t apply this year because I have no good standardized test scores (but I’m having excellent grades in my transcripts, perfect recommendations and essays) I just need to get an idea of applying next year. so please help me to clarify this. Thank you so much!
@Pawanwb Hey, if your national examination is in the NYU standardised testing list then you can apply solely based on the national examination and ur transcript and no need SATs or ACTs… The list is over here https://www.nyu.edu/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/how-to-apply/all-freshmen-applicants/standardized-tests/national-examinations.html

@NubianQueen Don’t worry, I called NYU-AD and they said they have not sent out all the invites as yet, particularly the ones in the UAE - keep hoping for the best!
@yirinee did they say by when they would send them all out? @Bhosdikey there’s still hope!
@Basitsah last year around 6 of them were invited AS ED2 in my country but as of now only 1 is invited…so stay positive guuyzzz

Does anyone know how NYUAD links counsellor nomination profile to the applicant’s CommonApp profile? I applied for RD but submitted my counsellor nomination essay back in October. I just wanted to make sure NYUAD received everything. By the way, I am an applicant from Victoria JC, Singapore. Would love to talk to prospective applicants if possible

Hi! I once asked the admission office that your nomination will be considered during the application but it is shown in your file in the university and there would be no notification of such nomination. So don’t worry or you can just send an email to ask. Good Luck!
@Fission when did you get your invite?
I checked my junk emails yesterday and found it. It was sent on Jan 12, I think. If you haven’t recieved it, I think you should wait with patience and don’t forget to check spams. Good Luck!
Thank you for your information @Fission. I sent an email 3 days ago and haven’t heard anything. I think they might be busy with ED applicants and thought RD ones could take a wait. You applied through ED right? Which part of Asia are you from?
