I just checked my Albert and my High School Transcript is ticked, but my standardised test score isn’t (probably because I submitted A-Level’s as the standardised testing requirement)… I submitted my application on the 30th of December… There isn’t anything to worry about, I’ve read a lot of posts in these forums and many people in the past years didn’t have ticks until the day they sent out candidate weekend invitations…

i know it’s not yet time for CW invites to be sent but i keep checking my email every second lol…
who else is anxiously waiting? i’m so nervous …
btw, how many people exactly get invited?
Same! ED2 applicant here as well.
Here’s an article from 2013 (https://www.thegazelle.org/issue/2/features/candidates) and it says about 300 students were invited to the candidate weekend. I hope to see an increase in the numbers as NYUAD aims to increase its student population to about 2000.

About 120-125 per weekend. Thant makes for 500ish per year

@13thElvishLord yeesh, such a small number regarding their intentions to increase the student body for the sayidaat campus… makes me even more anxious!!
@NubianQueen Yuup and considering that that’s only those who are invited. Of those about 70% get in for what I know. But don’t worry its not impossible to get in and if its meant to be it will happen. Good luck

@RadiationSpike9 , I’ve read past threads and it seems the invites for ED2 come out mid-jan, so expect them to be sent out in like 3-4 days

In my understanding, NYUAD aims to reach the 2,000 population mark.

just got the invite to abu dhabi!! I cant seem to access the portal though. saying im unauthorized. kinda freaking out!
