On the web page, it says "For both the SAT and ACT we will review the highest of each section, regardless of test date. The practice is commonly known as “superscore.” However, on the following notes, it says “If you’ve taken the SAT more than once, you can select which results you want to send to us using Score Choice. We will review the highest SAT scores you submit.” I got confused whether NYUAD is doing both the super score and score choice, or if it is up to the student to apply by either super score or do score choice.
Can anyone explain with the following situation please?
Assume that student A got:
1500 = 750 (English) + 750 (math)
1530 = 730 (English) + 800 (math)
Does NYUAD
- get all scores (just as they are listed) and super score – 750 (English) + 800 (math) = 1550
or 2) only get the score that the student A sent – 750 (English) + 800 (math) = 1550
or 3) get 1530 (by score choice) ?
Thank you!
