Oberlin New T-Shirt

Hey this is a message to everyone who got in ED1: Did you get an email about voting on a design for the new t-shirt? The three finalist designs look pretty good.

I just got this email- i think the third one is awesome, not so crazy about the other two.

While I voted for the third one, some students complain about it being reminiscent of Greek life. (I did not share the aversion, however, because I am an international student and hardly know about Greek life.)

The designs are at Oberlin College , for people who aren't incoming first-years and therefore didn't get the link.

Personally, I like #3 - it makes us look like a punk band! The others are kind of static/cold/professional/admissions-y. But I'm already here, so maybe I'm not the target audience? :)

RD applicant so my opinion doesn't really matter - but I like the 2nd one.

Aw. They're so simple, in a boring kind of way. I like the third one the best, I suppose; the second one is cheesy. The first one is definitely too admissions-y. =/

I'm RD as well but I like the second one the best followed up by the 3rd one. I just can't imagine anyone walking around wearing the first one :D

The third one is by far the best. I'd wear it around any university I go to even if it's not Oberlin.

Yes, no one would even imagine that it's a college shirt. Perhaps someone will ask whether if you're from Germany. ;)

2 has been elected.

I voted for #2. For me, #1 was automatically out of the question; much better for an admissions packets. And #3 is boring for me. It does remind me of Greek life, but I'd hope non-Obies know enough about Oberlin to know there is none.
