<p>For those wise folk with Oberlin Conservatory experience, Con students don't pre-register for classes prior to arriving on campus. My son received his Theory placement and advisor's name in the mail last week; however, I'm confused about how and when the whole registration process takes place. I believe he works on this with his advisor, but when does he meet with her? Will all of this info be in the Orientation packet when we arrive? To the best of my knowledge, I don't THINK he has gotten anything emailed or mailed about this--and my need to understand he process, though I know he'll be fine, is overwhelming me! Help? Thanks in advance!</p>
<p>He will meet with his advisor during orientation and they will decide what classes he should be taking. He will then get an assigned time to go on PRESTO and register.</p>
<p>Thanks Coloratura. I assume classes aren’t that hard to get? Will he have a schedule advisor appointment set when he gets there? I know he’ll probably get a lot of help–it’s just confusing to ME ;)</p>
