OCT. 2006 SAT Equating Sections

Please list the equating sections. I think the math section was the one with the question about the reams of paper.

section 2 CR came with a nixon passage

Section 2 writing, with the Chicago rooftop gardens.

Section 4 CR w/ a short passage about Petrach and a long passage about a reclusive and creative writer.

sec 3 writing that was insanely hard!

Okay sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm really lost about the equating sections. Are there like ~4 different versions of the test, each with a different equating section? I don't remember doing anything that's listed here so far.

Okay, did anyone else get a CR section with a double short passage about a guy's experience walking next to a lion and why big game animals are dying out? And I think in the same section there was a long passage about general relativity vs. quantum theory vs. superstring theory...

Can anyone confirm that that one was experimental?

Treebounder - I definitely didn't get those passages

Those passages were experimental Tree :)

Tree,
Are you sure the superstring vs. quantum and the big game passages were in the same section? Beacause I had the theories passage but I had writing experimental.

I didn't have either of those questions, and I had a writing experimental.

yeah I had writing experimental.. section 3 was the exp one, and it was indeed difficult

I totally don't remember having any of these sections...o.o. In fact, I'm positive I didn't have any of these...there must have been some more...I'm really curious as to which one was my experimental, actually.

i had a math experimental i believe

total i had:

3 writing

3 verbal

4 math
2 25 minutes
1 gridin 25 minute
1 20 minute

anyone know if the 2.8 million election math question was an experimental?

the math: no it wasn't

what were the answer choices for that question?

er maybe they weren't in the same section... but I dunno

They were like 50.5, 50, idk 55 something like that. I got 50.5 I think

i got 51% for that one

i got 50.5...
