OCT 2008 SAT "How well did you do?" Thread

So, now that it's over, how well do you think you did?
from a scale from 0 to 10 inclusive.

6
10 char

9/10 -- Perfect Score on math unless I missed the 30-34 |x-32|<2 one... Essay was abit bottom heavy-- my point was covered too quickly, but it was pretty good. Writing- Simple.. might have missed one or two(max) though. Critical Reading--- (This one was tricky-- on my form, we had three 25 sections and a 20; one of the 25s was the test one)... I thought all of it was rather easy except for one passage--- about the artist

i put |x-32|=2 not really thinking about it, I guess I got that one wrong lol

I'd say a 7 or 8 out of 10

I think 800 on M and CR. but the writing MC went horribly for me.
i think i easily got -4 on my raw score

So writing was bad but I think I was in the 2300's....retaking next month

I got a 800 M, I'm pretty sure of it.
750~ for W and 650~ for CR o_o

2200ish

i think the Math was really good! i didn't find any "hard" ones persay, except for one of them which i couldn't really figure out.

something like

56< sqroot of x < 82

some thing like that

but CR was eh,

writing was fairly good.

so 7-8 out of ten

it was
62
99-37

oh okay

i think i might have guessed that, but i quickly erased it.
oh well

i thought it had to be an integer?!

ahhh that was the only one I coudln't figure out!
I get thinking it had to be a square of a number...

what did you guys get for the one with 3 triangles into a quadrilateral?

oh like 16 + 2 root 3

or something

i hope this is legal though

Can anyone tell me the vocab question that had "inscrutable" as one of the choices? Unless, of course, it's not allowed. -___-;

ipodless its 20.
look at the math thread, post 422.
I drew a picture explaining it.

yeah if you work out the angles you will see that the "unknown" segment
is part of an equilateral triangle and the other 2 sides of the triangle are 4, so the segment is 4

it was 17/2?

YES YES YES FOR THE QUADRILATERAL! I was so scared it wasn't going to be 20 but it was!!

4? (10 char)

6-8 depnding on a couple cr i guessed

no it was 34.
look on the math thread, i explained it on there

great...another one down.

where is this thread?
