so... how do you think you did? OFFCIAL MAY 3RD SAT THREAD!!!

after taking the test and seeing the crazy discussion how well do you think you did???

it was so hard!!!!!!!1

have you taken before??

i got an 1850 on my first go round

i believ i did very well on math and the essay(12/12 i could dream couldn't I) :)

Reading was okay ,writing MC ,i have no idea

math: 770-800
reading 770-800
writing 770-800
2300+ hopefully, but idk

I took the SAT II I think I did very well in the Biology hopefully over 700 and ok in History hopefully over 600.

math: 770-800
Reading: 600-650
Writing : 650- 700

How are you guys coming up with the score range?

math 720-780 (i've only found one mistake, but i'm sure i slipped some others in =/)
reading: 670 (way worse than usual for me. i couldn't concentrate at all)
writing: 740

i really just want the math to go up.

Math: 800 (I feel pretty confident about this)
Reading: 660-720 (I did not enjoy this section)
Writing: 700-760 (assuming that the writing multiple choice section that I botched was the experimental one of the two)

Aagh. This sucks. A little backstory, i guess. I took the SAT in march and missed two questions on the entire test. They were both math questions (I made terrible mistakes, a calculator mess-up with punching in some numbers and a misgridding of an answer). Unfortunately the math curve was really harsh so I got a 2340. I retook today, and thought everything was fine. Then I came on here and saw the debate over the math question with italian and german. I interpreted "the number of students taking any one language is equal to the number of students taking both" as the number of students taking either german OR italian equals the number of students taking both (any ONE language, not looking for multiple languages, thus not both), but I can also see the idea that it could be "ANY one language," meaning taking one language course as opposed to two, but still could have students in different courses. I can't decide which one's right because it just seems so ambiguous. I'm super ****ed, because I was only retaking to get the perfect math score since I already have perfect reading and writing. It makes me angry that a math question comes down to something so tiny as how you interpret a clearly ambiguous grammatical construction, since the answer's 9 my way and 6 the other way.

Apart from that everything was fine. I think i missed one critical reading, and I'm pretty sure I got all the writings (I always do in practice), so I'll probably get more 800's there just to add insult to injury hahaha. I know it's a bit ridiculous to be doing this retake, but I'm a perfectionist and it makes me feel better, so I justified it to myself.

so overall, do you think the curve will be generous/harsh/average?

i have a feeling it'll be average.

max- i did the same thing as you on that quesiton...are you sure its not 9?

its not 9. i promise

what would my score be around if i did as follows?:

CR: 4 wrong, 2 omitted
W: 2-3 wrong
M: 2, maybe 3 wrong, 1 omitted

I got 4 wrong and omitted one on the math and got 700 last time

This May 3rd one:
Writing : 9-14 wrong...maybe 600+? I didn't finish my essay really sucked
CR: I thought it was relatively easy..I'm hoping 600+
Math: I'm pretty sure i got it all right but omitted one fill in..Do you think 770+?
i really want to break 2000 this time
i got 1850 last time...
any predictions on my score?
how is the curve on these sections?

i took the the test for U.S. I thought the test was okay, but everyone i spoke to said that the test was really hard. now i don't know if i did well or not.

i took the test in january... and that one was pretty good but i thought the may one was even better. i'm probably crazy though because whenever i say it was good, i end up doing not so well haha
i really want a high math score though... but i already got at least two wrong :(

writing - 770-800
math-740-770
critical reading
690-710

I just hope I break 700 for critical reading
