@glasshours oh okay so you were against teaching it in schools? I said that teaching moral conduct AND academic instruction could go hand in hand and how teaching TKM in english classes today shows a strong moral character that students learn from. Honestly, I was going from a kind of odd angle so I had to try and come up with a good way to write it last minute

@ah1217 28 i guess?
Anyway what did you guys get for the question about two lakes and archaeologists finding a stove and dining hall

@bertha757 easily controlled?

I believe it was "For a starters toolbox, choose one of the saws with rugged edges, as they are sharp, cut quickly, and easily controlled

Lake one was subject verb agreement because there were two lakes

The lakes one was “is”. It should be are since north of lakes “are” 2 lakes

guys how many no error did you get? millionth time asking

i got 3-4 no error
Lakes one i put no error, i think it is “is”

4-5 @scarlettlovesivy

For the essay, I said aganst teaching because it was easier for me to write on.

1.) How soceity influences values. Values are not something that can be taught, for example values in Japan exmphasize group work, seniority right, blah blah while in the US it is indivdualistic

2.) “Good character is the result of good actions” - a quote I made up (Chinese Proverb)

However, good actions is really ambigous. A child can tell the diffrence between hot and cold because of experience, same thing with character. It is built by experience not through education.

Character and Values are learnt over time and are therefore cannot be taught at schools.

I think my argument was pretty valid. idk what you guys think.
