self critical

how would the author of passage one respond to the author of passage 2s comment about how sports players have their own personal motivations

i put “a disgression that provides background info” @alison12‌

no the iranians thing did not give background. how is it giving background. there was a betterr choice cant remmeber

what were the choices for the question asking about the first sentence of the smell passage?

what did you guys get for the cylinder one? like 7 cyclinders with a height of 1?

assert authority, open discussion that does not try to convince, be humorous

@meaa7130‌ pretty sure that answer was to state the authors assertion that the author believed that statement

yes but thats something u can ifner

Did anyone else spot the analogy between “roast” and “rose” in the smell passage? I put “warm fire and cool breeze”.

but how was the author asserting authority he had no authority

The background is that it told us the mom is red haired and freckled

no it wasnt assertion

56

for that math pattern where each number was multiplied by the preceding term what did u get for the value of o

lol i put warning bell and soothing melody (?)

yeah I got 12.5 too

that is barely any background it wasnt just two words…

It gave background, it told us that it the mom was american, had freckles and red hair, and came from Iran. The second best choice was add poignancy though a flashback, but I thought that was to extreme

there was a much better choice
