***Oct 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

pretty sure the squirrel one was no error

I’m confused what the 1.0 episode says about candidness…

@icepierre yeah me too

for math the one about y=10^k and adding other values to make the answer 111000000, the answer was 6 right

For the Iranian Traveling Car Passage:

What was the main passage about
~Social Trend?

Why did the author mention the person leaving speaking Farsia or notice it or whatever?
C. explanation for the previous statement
D. Flashback to reiterate poignancy of main narrative (Main threw me off bc its not the main point of the passage) I put C
Couldn’t choose between D or C

Why did the kids do “making leg room in the car” after it described the parents lost color in their face
~Following what the Car salesman said?

i’m pretty sure there was no commentary from comaneci herself about the 1.0 fiasco, and her athletic abilities may have been novel at the time, but they would surely have been surpassed.

for 2 I put C too… everyone says its wrong ugh

@TheCalculator‌ M: 780-770, CR: 800-750, W: 800-710. Total: 2380-2230. Pretty good.

It made sense to me at the time. That’s all I can say lol. I usually do really well in CR so I am pretty confident about my answers, but who knows.

Writing Questions

For a toolbox, one of the saws… (one of the saws was the error bc later it said comma, these (so plural does not math one)

Editing Paragraph: Change moreover to however OR was it "add OR not after whether

SQUIRREL ONE WAS NOT NO ERROR. Didn’t it not include a gerund to have parallelism

I got 2 No errors in identifying sentence part

for the first one i put the one after the life turning point one…

@jessicalyu ya but like was it really a turning point? wasn’t it like a norm thing for her to travel places and stuff… ug hard

everyone has different answers and I’m so confused… time for me to turn off my computer lol. cuz for the toolbox one I got easily controlled or something

The writing actually felt pretty easy this time around. I was getting 800s consistently on practice CR’s so I’m confident in my answers but there is so much debate on some of them because they were too vague. I was practicing off of real tests I found online and this was the most vague CR section I have ever seen. I made 2 math mistakes and that’s all so that should be okay.

Ok basically this is the deal
CR. was WAY EASIER TO COMPREHEND and people “thought it was easy” but when u think about it, half of the answers are prob wrong So (hardest section)
Writing medium
Math easiest (I mean… really)

i dont see what parallelism is needed in the squirrel question

@dhizzy I AGREE> the CR this time was VERY EASY TO answer the Q yourself but when choosing an option, there were always 2 that sounded good
Im going for -3 800 curve

Now that I have done this crap, I agree that CR sucked

@Busybee123 no i didn’t put that one. i had the one after that. DO you remember what are the other choices though?

I’m still on the fence about the free riding question. On one hand the author said that it was censured and easily spotted, on the other hand the author talks about how it can sometimes be beneficial b/c by helping them you are helping the whole group. But now that i think about it that might have been more for collaboration…
