October 14 SAT

How'd you guys think it was?

I though the Math and Writing were pretty easy, but the Critical Reading hard. CR is always my weak point though.

I'm pretty sure I got all the sentence completions correct. But the passages, no. Especially that Thoreau one. Anyone remember some of the answers for that one? I remember a good deal of the SCs.

which ones do you remember. i thought the vocab was hardd.. especially for the last few

I think I did better than I did in June.

I remember... diaphanous, iconoclast, supercilious, currency/inconculsive... Can anyone job my memory with some of the questions or possible choices?

i got the same ones as you did except supercilious but i'm probably wrong

i had a hard time with the SC dealing with policies. i think the answer choices were "mitigated...jingoism" and "ossified...bureaucrization."

i got ossified.bureaucritation (or w.e) :p

For that I put ossified because it was saying that something became rigid?

And did you guys get altered/revolution for one? I wasn't sure on that...

wow sentence completions were awful.
i dont have a good vocabulary, clearly.
and i have like, none of those answers. =(

i got "ossified...bureaucrization" for that one. and i got all of the above ones the same too, including supercilious, which im pretty sure was right.

hmm i said the legislation one?

I remember... diaphanous, iconoclast, supercilious, currency

this is exactly what i had, but i was just guessing lol based on eliminatoin

math...pretty good
cr....had a few tricky questions, ok besides that
wirting....ok, my essay it think it isnt great

yeah, that's what i put.

withonevoice, damn i don't think i put currency/inconclusive. i put credence/irrefutable. am i wrong?

Yep I put ossified/bureaucrazation, supercilious, iconoclast..

I put anomalous for the one where it was like "virtually transparent" and the other hard vocab was diaphanous

Maybe that one was our experimental..

I put currency/inconclusive.. i guessed there was another weird def. or interpretation of currency.. for credence irrefutable, the evidence was in support of it, so it couldn't be irrefutable

yea it was currency/inconclusive

what examples did you guys use on your essays?

Diaphonous was the transparent one.

i think it was iconoclast since the senetence was about breaking tradition(guessed on that one!!)

iconoclast is correct.
