ur friend is wrong

for the writing section, the first part (changing long parts of sentences), did you get a lot of c's and d's? i got a ton of them in a row at some point o_O;;

Haha yeah that one was really troublesome. I didn't realize that they didn't have to be values for which x is an integer. I was worried about how to put 38.3333 or .6666. I put 37.7.

Also, I almost got the 4x4x7 rectangular prism one wrong.

My answer for the trapezoid one was 30. 12+6+6+6, if I remember correctly.

@dolcevalse
yeah i did... : D

dolcevalse, I remember getting 3 C's in a row. I don't remember getting 4 in a row though. However, the only reason I got 3 C's in a row is because I remember reading in this PSAT book about the probability of getting 3 C's or D's or E's etc. in a row.

what did you guys say about the last sent completion once in section 1? it was about some leader in a village and the choices i was down to was him being "frugal" or "munificent." i think i chose the former..

I put the one with frugal. I don't remember if it had munificent with frugal in the sentence as the answer or not. However, I knew that munificent meant really generous.

^DEFINITELY frugal. I'm, like 99% certain. Good thing you picked the right choice.

What did you guys get for the outdoors and hiking club question?

I got 3 C's, a D, then 2 C's, then another D in a row.

question from vocab - the fill in was about a leader epitomizing economy
what was the answer?
and what does cynical mean? i learned in 7th grade but I blanked out and couldnt remember!

@ dolcevalse: a paragon of extreme economy would be frugal.

Cynical means you think people are always being selfish.

yeah i put frugal
not sure if its right though

any other math you can recall?

apparently, everyone thought writing was simple. there hasn't been any discussion..

I'm still doubting the outdoors/hiking club question. What was the logic?

dammit i missed the on argumentation in the writing, its supposed to be E i guess, i put that was wrong...

also for the writing about writing letters/seding emails was it

rather than write
or
instead of to write

alot of people said to write because it was parallel to the to send emails or something. is that right?

For writing, I remember debating whether the answer was the one with no commas, or the one with blah blah, "by which blah blah". It was in the 1st 14 questions.

Also in the 1st 14, there was one choice that had something sounding really awkward, like By him who.. or something. Ugh. I think our brains were burned out by section 5, hence the lack discussion. I thought the writing was OK.

@neot3e0ne: I put rather than write; I didn't see the parallelism or look for any, because instead of to write sounded really awkward. I went straight to the choices (probably a bad idea).

For the question about in triangle ABC, AB = 1, BC = 100, which of the following is true?

I think I put <A is the greatest.

nah C is the least,..
anyone know my question's answer^^^
