Yeah, that makes me nervous because Dr. Math's website is usually very accurate.

i think that's what i put, too. can't remember the other options, though.

I agree, because the passage talked about how both were vivid, yet the lady's flowers were blurred and heavy, similar to how a sunflower gets old and droops or something like that.

@pollocampero6060, if the radius were the same, the max is infinite like An0maly said. If they are different, the max is 2.

the picture with two big equilateral triangels and a little one in between(kind of inside..)
for the perimeter did you guys get 32???? (my friend got 30)

wait doesnt it not matter cuz if zero was even it would be 1998-0=1998 anyways...

question about the Japanese artist passage. What did she mean by casting the shadow? to put forth? to discard?

dam-I dont remember what I got for that one but I went back to check mmy test and i found the perimeter of the big triangle instead oif the figure i was supposed to find so I went back to redo it. haha

@ fluffy1: "put forth" i believe.

the ( ) one was in anticipation of her admiration of the lady's artwork. The key word was "bold".

^Yup......

yep, daman's got it right!

wasn't it finding the perimeter of a trapezoid? does anyone remember the measurements given?

Yeah, one side was 12, and It said that the base of the triangle in between was 6, and the halves of the other two triangles were 6.

My answer for the trapezoid was 30.

What was the math question in section 4 ( I believe it was the last one) that was like 75<x something<76. I didn't have much time to do it but I got 38.8 o.O

Lol, safe.

i got 37. there were multiple answers.

but what about that horrid bike one?

concept, i got something with a .8 and a 30-something, haha. i almost put the value of x as my ans but then i found out i had to do more with it!

ooh the bike one, it was b. lol i remember b/c there was no "initial charge" in choice a, but choice b worked for both scenarios (4 and 6 hr bike ride i think)

Yeah. I think I put the answer "put forth" and also I put 1998 for that math one.

For the last one it wasn't asking for the value of x right, it was asking for x - 3 / 6?

If so, I'm glad. I put 38.7, and my friends told me it was asking for X.
