October 2010 CR SAT Thread

I thought the reading part of the CR was alright, but the vocabs killed me…I should’ve studied more…

The 3 are right.
Wasted.
Percocious.
Enmity
Mudslinging

The black girl jump roping:
The parent’s were predictable.
The helix one: something about feeling vibrant or whatever.

That’s all that comes to mind so far…

OH. something about mammals…lol

all i remember is…

there was something about native animals being extinct as an answer.
i put ambitious for the last one. (prob wrong T.T)
something about raising doubt about the opposite argument.
inevitable was an answer i think as well…but it might be undesirable. I just read “surely” so i put the most literal answer.

anyone else get something different/remember more?

Oh man, I must have chosen the one about happiness too quickly :frowning: I thought that he, like the child, was happy when he was alone on the hill. The child had taken the toy, so he could only play when it when he was alone…Bleh, I don’t know.

I agree with tvremote on all of those answers

anyone remember getting sincere as an answer? i was stuck between that and balanced for a while and ended up choosing sincere. I think i might have gotten it wrong tho :/

unremitting was one of the answers

What the hell was the answer to the cheetah and American mammal one thing?

The trojan one was annoying.

what was the one that convinced thurymidides (sp?) that the trojan war did happen?
Didn’t get that one at all T.T

and was the answer probably or probably not?

precocious was definitely not it… idk what it was but i remember it not being precocious…

It was balanced

The precocious one was NOT precocious

^probably.

i got stimulant.

does anyone remember that vocab ques with the answer “diffident… aversion toward”?

I got balanced, wasted, and antidote. I didn’t choose precocious, but I forgot what my answer was.

@alleviate = i got they were native animals that were extinct.

and i didn’t get sincere…I got something with an “e”. dunno.

I put balanced and i put probably because no evidence contradicts the truth or whatever.

someone add?

sun6360 I think it was UNREMITTING not PRECOCIOUS…

100% the answer was antidote and not stimulant. Look up the definitions if you’re curious

And diffident was an answer for sure

and, it was def not precocious. I think it was unremmetting or something.

What was the one with “wasted”? I don’t remember that at all!

I put probably because no evidence supports otherwise. I think that was answer choice E.

I chose eminent, but I didn’t get assiduous (or I don’t think I did…not sure), and I didn’t get emphatic.
