@ harrydo93, you read what key?

@ redemption: is calling to know the score beforehand available for international test takers?
If so, please tell me where I can read more about that.

Thanks!

What was the answer to ‘how does the narrator’s speaking in first person help?’

I wrote that it gives commentary. Is it correct? The narrator does comment on everything that’s happening.

^ what were the other options???

Guys, I think we’d better collect our answers: I.Maths(except those grid answer) II.CR III.Writing(we can also talk about our essays if anyone is confident about his/her)

Reading(long passages)
Section 4(may vary)

 1. The passage is about a person(probably a journalist) who interviewed Frost, a famous British poet:the passage first talked about the background information of Frost, who looked like a benign old man with a bleak and cold writing style in his poems. In this part, the key word is (actor) which is used to describe Frost’s nature. Then the author recounted his interview, failing to elicit any words from Frost, a situation he/she never met before. But finally Frost implied that he was the master of the world(or something like that), which confirmed the former background infor.

2)The NOVEL is about a Japanese American girl who accompanied her family on a visit to her mother’s adoptive father’s house, only to find that he died before, and his widow welcomed the family. First the mother claimed that her box still belong to her(there was a question here, and the answer should be that the mother belived that her item many years ago still belonged to her). The widow did not felt easy about the protagonist’s parents, but liked to talk with the protagonist and her brothers(there was a question here, and the answer should be that the widow felt better with the children instead of their parents). REMEMBER, THE ANSWER HERE IS NOT THAT THE WIDOW LIKES CHILDREN, BECAUSE THE COLLEGEBOARD DO NOT WANT AN EXTENDED ANSWER. Then the scene turned to the parents who had a struggle whether or not the mother get her former item, and the girl thought the STRUGGLE WAS VERY INTENSE LIKE A FIGHT(there was a question here). Finally, the girl stoled the item herself in order to please her mother, but she finally realized that she must have made a wrong judgment(there was a question here, THE GIRL RECOGNIZED THAT THERE WAS AN ERROR IN HER INITAL DECISION). Yet the protagonist put the item on the front floor of her family’s home as her mother can see it and run away.

Excuse me, I have to go to bed, the recount will continue the next morning, about 9 hours later.

There was this graph. Something about height in 1.5 hours. The height was 8

the other was the perimeter of something

Do any of you know if it’s possible to take SAT I and two SAT II’s on the same day?

MarieM. Simply put, no.

how to solve that height question?

goldnano: I’m not sure o.o I’ll give you a reply or PM if I find out though.

Btw, I’m pretty sure “ability for” is a correct usage if it’s used before an -ing verb. For instance, the sentence “Did we evolve a special ability for catching cheats?” Although I don’t remember the actually answer choice, I’m sure that it’s something like this right? Can someone reply to this and tell me answer choice A to the best of his/her ability?

Haha thank you for making this thread such a hit, guys :)

The height of the candle was 12-3*1.5 which was 7.5. Not 8 definitely.

I am pretty positive the candle one was eight, but I don’t remember the exact function that was given to solve. Something h(t) where t is hours or something? I can’t remember. Ughhh.

the function is h(t)=12-3t and there t=1.5 so h(1.5)=12-3*1.5=7.5

No the candle one was definitely positively 7.5!

EDIT: The salt one was A because I double and triple checked and every other option was more awkward…

Oh that’s right! That’s right. I had 7.5. Oh I am so relieved right now. Sheessh. So the two 8’s were answers to something different then? Although to be completely honest? I only remember one 8 and it had to do with a perimeter of a triangle.

MajorQuest, which one is the salt one?

Guys what about the “Why author speaks in the 1st person?”
What’s the answer?

itsmylife99, what were some possible choices?
