just wanted to know is the experimental section scored?

Unconfidential
When are you taking your SAT IIs? And which subjects?

djp2012
I’ll be happy with 760 I guess. :)

@itsmylife99: 3 wrongs are often within the 770-780 range. So you are in good shape.
I’m taking World History in December, Math II, US History, and perhaps Literature in January. How about you?

@mariem no its not! You can register late as a stand by tester, the only bad thing is the fee you have to pay which is like double the cost overall

All of you are going to apply this fall ?

i am! 10<char></char>

i guess this has probably been mentioned somewhere in the thread before, but im too lazy.
i had 4 cr sections, which one was the experimental?? section 7 right. the one with vituperative as the right answer for the sentence comp??

i expect to get like 3-4 questions wrong in cr. no questions left. is it still possible to get a 750+??

Yes^ Well, unless the curve turns out to be very harsh.

No, the section with ‘vituperative’ is not experimental.

hey guys…i have a few doubts on my mind and i’m hoping you can clear them for me…
- for the flourish…central question, anyone remember the sentence (not necessarily the exact wording) and what is the word paired with peripheral?
- for the political passage, there’s one question that asks abt the diff between passage 1 and 2…the answer’s ‘challenges the underlying assumption’…i got that right but is there another question that asks ‘what was supported by BOTH passages?’
- is there a sentence completion Q which involves these pairs of choices ‘slovenly + internalize’, ‘emulate + immaculate’? is it on the experimental section? cos i reli don’t recall coming across these words lol
- i still remember i chose B for the first six questions on one of the CR sections but some of you said only 5 out of 6 were Bs…please help if you still remember
- what do you guys expect the CR curve to be like? if i get 4Qs wrong, what score should i be expecting for CR?
Thanks loads :)

The monkey coco in geogia knows 2000 SAT words…she is the best student in georgia state university…

fhw chris : -
- the one with central is the right answer NOT peripheral
- I had many Bs one one section too but not the first 6 for sure. I think four of the first 6 had Bs.
- lets just hope its easy!!!
u applying early anywhere this year??

Im so scared of the CR curve
If -3 = 740 and -5 = 710 im going to feel SO cheated. I mean, it wasnt impossibly hard but it wasnt THAT easy…

1 more week!!!

Which Writing section is experimental? Treasure-hunting or George Washington?

two 8’s in math-grid in and 256 sounds familiar to me! thank goodness
however, I do not remember getting a manuscript question… maybe I forgot or something. I didn’t get experimental WR. I think my experimental was math, though it could have been CR, though I doubt it since I don’t remember getting any of the experimental CR sections that a lot of people have got so far!

RESULTS IN 11 DAYS!
Nervous. Excited. Anxious. Eager to find out.

Does anyone know if the first math section was experimental? I know it’s not helpful comparing the orders, because the order of sections is scrambled for everyone, but it was a particularly hard math section. The rest were all around the same level of difficulty.

Another note: I don’t remember getting a super, super hard “demonic” CR section (section 9, everyone’s saying). So, I don’t think my experimental was CR.

section 9 CR is not an experimental section
the CR experimental was the one about a man who was asked to do the dusting in a factory or smt like that

Was there a Q with the word Tirade? Was that the inquisition Q? This is CR SC by the way.

@ icolumbiau: Yeah, I think so.

I just realized that 2 mistakes in CR equaled to an 800, but 3 mistakes might drop the score to a 760-780.

I’ve already got 2 questions wrong, and certainly hope there won’t be another one coming.
