October 2010 - International SAT

OCTOBER 28 IS THE RESULT DAY…just found out.

yep vituperative is correct

yahoo! inspire is correct? I marked it!

For the political one, what did you choose for the question about what was supported in both passages?

I think I vaguely remember that for the question regarding what the chief difference between the two was that the second one discussed the types of voters. Or something like that. I was wondering which one it was and I thought it might be the “passage 2 offers a fresh perspective”, but then I remembered that passage 2 was older (1998) than passage 1 (2004)

joshuakitty, the one with rancorous, was vituperative.

i think i also put fresh perspective or somethin along those lines… but i dont remember…

no the answer was that passage 2 offers fresh perspective…I marked that at least

it’s passage 2 offers a fresh perspective… cos the passage didnt really discuss the type of voters explicitly

high five Majorquest!!! :)

do you know which will be scored section 2 or 6?

I don’t remember exactly that one but I think I circled the one with a fresh perspective.

I thought that that guy was unruly.

lol hi5!!!

yep, i recalled. Thx

Yeah, but I think I associated “Fresh perspective on recent research results” with new perspective…and that’s not possible if passage two is older…

@Suleyman: Section 2 would be scored…

@Eva: the freshness wasn’t time restrained…Passage 2 offered a fresh perspective that the voter singularly might not be coherent but as an aggregate they are coherent…Passage 1 was unruly and belittled voters who were incoherent…

so, am i going to admonish my CR discussion thread??LOL

section 6, the one with a dust cleaner passage is experimental

wow, didnt really notice that…

nooooooooooooooooooo, that was my best one…

YES the dust cleaning is experimental in CR…

and Treasure hunting is experimental in Writing…
