October 2010 SAT - Experimentals

There is 1 experimental section out of the 10 sections. EVERYONE has 3 critical reading sections, 3 math sections, and 2 writing sections (essay is the 9th section) in common. The experimental section can be any of the subjects and is not factored into the score. The CollegeBoard just wants to see students suffer.

I got a CR one about Disneyland.

Did anyone NOT have the reading passages PBS funding and the guy in the woods venting his anger?

I had a writing experimental but do not remember what the improving paragraphs section was about >_< It was section #3 or #4 though.

webass-could experimental be the one about the man who watched his brother play in his quartet?

I had a writing experimental.
It was section #4. It had I believe 4-5 no errors. It was easy. ;-; I was angry when I saw that section #5 was also writing. I almost sat there and slept because section #4 was so easy, but luckily I didn’t…turned out section #5 was the real one. :P

Could someone summarize the M, CR, and W experimentals for me? I’m really confused about what they are.

…If there were 2 math sections involving grid-ins, does that mean that math was the experimental? B/c if so…ffs…

Oh yeah… I totally forgot about that passage. It sure is.

Unfortunately, I loved the passage and answer almost all of them :(

READING EXPERIMENTAL

 • Disneyland and
 • About two brothers. Sonny and Colie or something.

is there anyway the critics passage was the experimental?
also, i had a passage about a lady who’s mom wanted her to write her biography.

I’m pretty sure the CR experimental was about some quartet and disneyland? because I had a WR experimental section and I did not see those CR passages.

i dont remember reading anything about the trojan war one. i dont know if i missed it ?! did anyone else not have it?

I am pretty sure that section 4 was the experimental section for all the tests.

i have 4 writing 3 readings and 3 maths

ummm
did the critical reading xperimental have the passage about liars and how one and how its harder to lie than to tell the truth because you remember the truth with ease?

which was the math experimental?

Seems like there were many experimental reading passages.

math was my experimental, but i didnt have a second section on grid ins. Did anyone else get a question on 3 equilateral triangles that did not overlap because im pretty sure it was experimental? The section was 20 questions in total

I had no experimentals since I had extra time. I can clarify anything for anyone if they’d like.

I had Math Experimental, but I’m pretty sure it was a 25-minute, non-grid in, in either Section 2 or 4.
My order was:
1-ESSAY
2-MATH (25)
3-CRW
4-Math (25)
5-Writing
6-Math(Grid-In)
7-CRW
8-Math (20 min)
9-CRW
10-Writing
