my order was

1 essay
2 math
3 cr
4 writing
5 writing
6 cr
7 math
8 cr
9 math
10 writing

i wonder if the experimental section was number 4?

yeah i had
1 essay
2 math
3 cr
4 cr
5 writing
6 cr
7 math
8 cr
9 math
10 writing

So 4 was experimental for me.

I honestly do not recall ever having disneyland or two brothers in any of my reading passages. >_<

I had a math experimental, but not a grid in one. My test went like this:
Essay (duh)
CR
Math
CR
Math
Writing
Math
CR
Math
Writing

not sure which math was experimental, but it was pretty easy.

i really hope ur rite caz i did awesome in all the sections…except section 4 (which i had as math)…my calculator broke down on me and i had to do the work manually…=(…i prepared so hard for this exam i really hope that section 4’s are the experimental (i’m aiming for a 2000) =D

My experimental was a reading section about lying and literary artists. WEird.

Does anyone remember a question where we had to find the area of a triangle but they only provided the lengths of two sides? Was that experimental or not?

^ No, it was not experimental.

Please let me know:

Does everybody who took the October 9, 2010 have the same exact experimental section, or do some testtakers have experimental in math and others in reading? I dont get it !

For me, I know I had a writing experimental. I believe the actual writing section had only 1 No Error on Identifying Errors Section and had a Passage on organic foods. Hope this helps.

It appears there are at least two experimentals each for math and reading. Not sure about writing. There also seems to be some consensus that the experimental was section #4.

Perhaps it would be helpful to make a consolidated list of what was on each section to assist people who are worried about it and having trouble determining which they had. Of course, since it doesn’t affect the scores this might just be a waste of time…

Here is what I have heard from friends who took the test with me and reading here:

Math Exp I

grid-in (second one… there was another grid-in on the actual test)
q. about cone

Math Exp II

??

CR Exp I

disneyland
brothers/playing in quartet

CR Exp II

??

Wring Exp I

sound affecting vision

Others I’ve heard about but don’t know where to assign:

Math

perimeter of triangles with sides a, b, & c
unoccupied vs occupied offices with windows
inverse proportions
lemonade stand
kids bringing items to school (with chart)
number of combinations of a 3-digit number that is less than 600 that can be made from the numbers 3,5,7, and 9
cutting wire into pieces
women/teenagers
three equilateral triangles that did not overlap

CR

television ruining ability to think (not pbs one on actual test)
girl & veteran’s day parade
sports fans/psychologist
spray paint artist
territorial patterns birds vs mammals

Guys, they give you sections in different orders, we can’t compare orders.

^

You are remembering wrong, bcause I had all of those and I only had the 3 CR. My experimental was Math.

CR exp II was about lying and literary art. Weird.

I heard that math experimental had some red 5 inch cube being cut into 1 inch cubes. The question asked for the number of small cubes with red faces.

What about the question with the probability that the numbers on three dice would add up to 17 or 18?

^ Not experimental.

Was the math question where they gave you three points A, B, C on a coordinate plane and asked you which of them belonged in the solution set to the inequality y > 3x-1 on the experimental? The answer was A only right?

what about the math question that had Blue, Red (or Yellow?), and Green blocks and you had to find out the max number of Blues that wouldn’t touch the Reds/Greens. Was that experimental?
