<p>For dogs, I just ended up using a ratio and got 20, but that could easily be wrong.</p>

<p>Surely the answer is 96pi + 32. I’ll explain why:</p>
<p>The area of the two circles combined is = 128pi
The area of both circles combined WITHOUT the combined area in between is (0.75<em>64)+(0.75</em>64) = 96pi. </p>
<p>To get the area of the area within the two circles is to subtract the two circles with the area combined from the the total of the two circles: (128pi-96pi = 32)</p>
<p>That means the answer is 96pi (the total area of the two circles with the holes) + 32 (the area within).</p>
