@prospective; in the nuclear passage, it said that nuclear was as bad as coal, so i think youre wrong. I think i put that we need to move away from coal? what were the answer choices?

iLiveonCC: I got the hypothetical situation, as to me it felt that the alternate situation alone didn’t justify her specific goal.

that’s good, because a lot of people have been writing about an “account of a phenomenon”? is this another question? I’m a bit confused…

@essaytress @prospective i put handling. how she handled, or how she interpreted bakers past

@iLiveOnCC–I think the answer for the Baker quote was the answer with ‘alternate’ or ‘alternative’ in it

@echogolf11, The first passage said nuclear was bad, the second one praised it. The question I am referring to asked something to the effect of, “How would the author of the second passage respond to the question posed at the end of the first passage?”

Baker’s quote was promote an alternative answer or something.

What are the Walden short passage answers??
Also answer:
Vehement vs. Caustic
Disparaging vs. Emphatic

I put disparaging.

@mtgmackid–I think the alternate’ answer is better than the ‘hypothetical’ one. She wasn’t formulating a a hypothetical situation. She was urging people to be more radical–in other words, she was advocating an alternate solution.

@hopeful … yeah thats what I put to…anyone else?

@indie: Definitely emphatic for the first tone question. I put caustic for the second one.

@indie500–Pretty sure it was vehement and emphatic

I’m with taconada on this one.

What were the Walden answers?

on the art/detour reading, what was that question asking about the general idea of the passage

nostalgic and _______
personal and reflective
…

@justin: personal and reflective. What was the meaning of “art is a detour”? I’m pretty sure the answer was either a guide to life or an escape from everyday life.

@justinkacherian I put personal and reflective

Do you remember any of the other Art Passage Questions?

Walden answers please…

@indie: second walden answer was definitely about losses and gains.
