October 2012 SAT scores 'not yet available'

Check again today, if it doesn’t work you should expect to get your SAT results any day now from the mail.

I took SAT in October and got 1990. I just decided to retake it in Nov 3rd. This will be my 3rd time. Do colleges care how many times you take the test? whic area should i focus on since i have such a little time? Thanks

I got them! 1730 my first time, no classes or practices! is that good? what universities cna I apply with that?

I came back from the trip few hours ago and checked it - but still not yet available.
I will call them few hours after and I’ll let you know what they tell me.
now i kinda gave up applying EA. I just want to know the score before the November test so that I can decide whether I should take it or not.

i’m an international student who took the international test.

Is that Oct 6 test score? Was it delayed and you just got it today?

I just called CB and this guy told me that there was no indication of errors or sth like that on my test. so even though I’m the only who hasn’t received the score among sat takers in my test center, there’s no problem at all with my test papers. Can this thing happen? this guy told me that I’d probably get the result on this thursday or friday. he said that my score has not been released due to too much test papers to be marked- so awkward, so they didn’t even mark my paper yet while they marked the others from my test center? why?? WHYY!! should i call them again -_- i was honestly expecting something ‘drastic increase in my score’ because i desperately need it.

I’ve phoned countless times (probably on the 7-8th) and I did get this reason once too. See my past posts for the reasons I received…(btw I’m the only guy in my centre who didn’t receive his score yet, and I’m CERTAINLY expecting an increase of 300+ points). Just call again and hope for a rep who’ll give you your actual reasons.

well i called them again and the different representative received it and she gave me similar answer; she just told me that my score would be released on either wednesday or friday. she said she cannot promise anything but then she said my score should, should, SHOULD BE (she literally repeated this for thrice) released on either wed or friday. she said my score is just in the “process” right now. hmmmmm

20021ys, same for me. Actually when I called on thursday, they said mine wasn’t even marked and will take 5-7 business days. I am hoping it comes out tommorow…

I checked it last night(in NY time, it would be like 12:30pm) and hadnot received it.
I checked it this morning(like 7pm in NY time) and received a totally non-sense score :frowning:
Good that im taking another one on this saturday

Got my scores around 7-8PM NY time and received my scores. Well, it turned out that I had a increase of 300 exactly, so that was probably why my scores were delayed…

Congrat john!!! I had an increase of 130pt only, so i guess my score was delayed purely because of too many test takers

I got it back too! It’s awsome. I improved around 260, but I am not for sure because of the score improvement( they told me it was delayed for some unknown reason that had nothing to do with me).
2310 it is, very happy

Thanks!

Congratulations!

Guys, I think most of us have either obtained our scores today, or will be obtaining them tomorrow.Just in time for EA!

Congratulations to all of you! At least most of you got rewarded with good news after your wait. No scores here yet (US test taker), but hoping that they will come this week since even the international students are getting theirs. The College Board HQ’s town is still in bad shape after Sandy, so I don’t have high hopes. I wonder if the International tests are being scored and posted overseas somewhere.

Wow…john9811…did you study a lot or was there a long time gap between test taking to get a 300 increase? Perhaps you can advise others as to what was an effective study method. Congrats!

I felt as you did when I saw that not yet available, but after I knew this problem was really widespread, I felt relaxed and I saw my score after a sleep although it’s not peaceful

Still no Oct 6 scores (test taken in US). Anyone else still waiting?

I am still waiting,
what happened on the registration of the Oct test after the test shows on ur MY SAT page
Mine is still there and it said “You have no available score” like forever
I M DRIVED CRAZY ON THIS

Spoke to a College Board rep this morning. She said “thousands” of Oct '12 score cards have not yet been processed. Nothing wrong with most of these tests or cards; the College Board just simply do not process everyone’s tests within that first three weeks. She said this happens each test. To this year’s Juniors: do not depend on getting your Oct '13 scores in time to make EA/ED decisions and do not depend on EA/ED colleges getting Nov '13 scores at all. The College Board should make this clearer on their website.

Yup US tester still waiting this is so frustrating!!
