I also have a grammar questionâŠ
When I see different tenses in the sentence, I get very nervous. I once put E (and the correct answer was E), but then I looked too deeply into the sentence and picked a verb.
How do I know when a sentence is correct or incorrect if it has different tenses? (not only the underlined parts)
@CHD2013 at school theyâve been teaching me for years about the 16 tenses and giving me sentences in which i have to pick the most suitable of the 16 (and I used to get A+ in the tests)
but generally when I look at a sentence with many tenses I panic⊠I donât know why
also in the passage with the science experiment/ laboratory thing with the little species on the slide that asked like what does the teacher mean when he says to appreciate the species that started with an s, was it understand the nature of it or appreciate its movements? i said understand the nature (sorry i couldnât be more specific in my description of the question everything is a little hazy)
I said sufficiently enough was redundant i think (i either chose b or e) pretty sure b. K MATH SECTION OMG. I was completely fine with everything except for ****ing question 3 (3?!? Srsly!) it was like you add 3 numbers to get 32. I picked c the options were add 3 evens 3 odds or 2 odds one even (i chose 2 odds one even). For some reason this question stumped me. Other than that there were 2 vocabulary.
1: Although the child was ⊠He later became ⊠And enterprised
I chose slothish and conscientious was that right ?
2: the tone of the speaker became âŠ
He was condemning soap and shi*ting on other stuff (idk the sentence acc)
Realistic options were admoniting or avarcious i chose admoniting
