I really needed a 32 for a scholarship bit I got a 30. My last test I got a 29 and the one before that I got a 31. What doesn’t make sense is my individual scores:
E:31 I guess that makes sense
M:32 thought this would be lower
R:29 thought I would atleast get a 32+ because my highest reading is a 33
S:28 ehh I was expecting maybe a 30.
Composite: 35
English: 35
Math: 34
Reading: 35
Science: 36
Ah my god I’m so happy! I don’t know how this happened I took the ACT one last time almost as a joke. I went up from a 29 with barely any studying. And 36 in science? What? I’m stunned in the greatest way in my life.
I’m so heartbroken. 29 composite. Same as last test. Math and Science killed me. Was really hoping to bump it up to a 32, but now I guess I just have to decide which one looks better.
@Wisconsinite99 yeah I need Alabama scholarship too. If I sign up for December that will be my fifth time so I don’t know what to do because the chance mine goes up is slim.
One of the best days of my life knowing this long struggle is over with. Three ACT’s later I finally got my 32.
Got a 33E, 32M, 32R, 30S.
Thought I bombed science but ended scoring a 30 which is my highest ever in science (once got a 24). Also, I had never scored higher than 30 on english but math was lower than normal. Reading was also a surprise (once got a 24).
The weirdest thing about all of this is that I never studied since the September test. All of my previous ACT’s, I studied crazy. Guess you don’t need to study.lolz
Best of luck to everyone trying to reach their scores. The struggle is real but you will get there in the end.
Went from 27C in Sept to 31C in Oct. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not possible to significantly raise your score in a short amount of time!! LOTS of practice tests and being less nervous the 2nd time around certainly helped. Significant improvement is possible!! Taking it again in Dec but it’s nice to have the pressure off
@zxcvbnm1216 the one I didn’t study for at all was my highest! I studied for a while for the June and October ones and did worse than the one I took in April.
