SEND IN ACT SCORES??

Hey Guyss

I am applying Early Decision to JHU, which superscores the ACT. I took the October ACT but I get my full score report on Nov. 17th while the ed deadline is Nov. 1st.

Will jhu get my october ACT scores on time? Should I send in my two previous scores? (scores are below)

ATTEMPT 1:
Composite: 30
English: 28
Math: 30
Reading: 33
Science: 28

ATTEMPT 2:
Composite: 30
English: 31
Math: 32
Reading: 29
Science: 29

Superscored, I get a 31. If I send in these two scores and the october scores in does it look bad? There’s a possibility that my superscore after the october act can be higher because I don’t know my oct. scores…

Sincerely,
A very stressed out senior

Send existing scores with app. since you have no reason to wait. If Oct scores improve the superscore, you can then send them, otherwise not. The Oct scores will get there on time absent some unusual hold on your test. JHU actually takes through the Nov SAT for ED.

Thank You @drusba! Do you think my 31 is competitive enough for jhu ?

@Upenngirl98 It’s ~30-35% among those accepted, so yeah. If you’ve got a great GPA and solid ECs, your chances of getting in will be higher.

Thanks @Hermit9!
