its’ is not a word, so it is not a valid choice. Also, I did the same thing as collegeinfo, I thought 5 more times showed how precisely few more times the issue was printed.

I thought it was its.

i think i put its too

“6) The first passage which listed a series of things. Should a colon have been there?”

I also put a colon before the list of things. Can anyone confirm this to be the correct answer?

ITS’ does not exist…

ITS was correct

Dang it…lmao

Does anyone remember the question about the Mets museum that had something to do with how people can look up information on the computers in the visitor’s center? Did we have to delete something in the sentence?

HSKid22, I put a colon for that question too.

you would have used the colon only IF the part before the colon was a complete sentence…do you remember the wording?

It wasn’t a complete sentence, so there shouldn’t have been a colon.

: denotes a list. ; denotes a break in a sentence, each part able to stand on its on. The question had a few things mentioned in a list form, if I remember correctly, and a : was the desired answer.

google the differences sunshinedispensa…

I know the differences very well. Prior to the colon was “such as,” meaning the sentence before the colon would not be able to stand on its own (which is a requirement for using a colon).

yea i didn’t use a colon either… can we get a solid answer?

haha oh i must have mixed up the question or something. Yeah I’m a bit of a grammar nazis and i now remember that part, and how it was … such as (word), etc. yeah no colon, my bad.

So far I’m on track for a 36 on english but probs a 33-34, 36 on math but more realistically a 32-33, 35 on reading but may be 32-33, 30+ on science but will probs be 28+ based on all these CC discussions feels good, man.

^nice, good luck

did anybody get a C,H,C,H (4 in a row) as a part of their answers? or an A,F,A,F?

yeah, i think i got b g b g or g b g b
