i got six weeks also
it was a 6inch that grew 1inch/week and a 3inch that grew 1.5inch/week so they were equal when 6+x=3+1.5x

Man I left one question blank at I realized it at the end... Overall.. the math wasn't as hard as the June one.. this one didnt have too much calculus.. there was nothing on it that you couldnt solve if you've have math up to precalculus.

Anyone get the law of cosines answer? I put 19.. not sure if it's right.

are we talking abt the same one? i am asking abt the kwatt problem. where it asked the percent increase between the new and old price.

ya nvm i had 140 for the angle because the other angle was 40 so it was 180-40

i got 1/4 for the f(g(x)) one... if tats wut u mean

i got 6 weeks, actually

19 is what I got at first but it is wrong. You subtracted instead of adding

To the person who asked about stamps, I put 13 down also

The law of cosines is b^2 + c^2 - (2bc) cos alpha

why wouldn't I subtract??

10/100 rights for that circle in cardboard box ques?

i got 19.......

19 isn't right because the hypotenuse can't be smaller then the legs. It was one of the 50 ones.

it was "there is at least one blue marble" right

ya i got 1/4. It was like f=(X+8)/(2-x) and i remember g was -6

yes. at least one marble was the right answer and I also put 10/100 for the cardboard question

Yep.

Anyone know th kilowatts one?

one blue marble, yes

can someone tell me what you got for the kwatt question where they asked what is the percent increase from the old price to new price? i got 4%.

i remember putting the decreasing exponential graph for the graph. i dont remember what i put for the first question in the kwatt question.

it was from $7 to $11, so 11/7 - 1 = 57%
