<p>yeah it didnt make any sense..but i looked it up online and it says that the intersection of a plane and a cone is a conic..so that leaves one point and two points..i just guessed one</p>

<p>Okay i dont think its 4% because i recall actually rereading that question to make sure what it was asking and it asked for the percent increase in the monthly pay</p>
<p>The cone one is 2 points. the three shapes are all called conic sections because they're formed by the intersection of a plane and cone and you can get 1 point intersection if it intersects with the tip of the cone.</p>
<p>On a side note, I used vector addition for the boat one. Way easier than law of cosines imo cause that's just asking for some kind of dumb computational error.</p>
<p>hey pr0ud same. it seems like when i took the april ACT, everyone had the same form and stuff. but this time when i looked around the room all the booklets were different colors. heh</p>
