October SAT! I'm done with mine

same here mango. Writing's my strongest section but today it was iffy, at least for my first one in section 3... I too hope it was the experimental one

I loved the essay topic... I'm pretty sure I got a 10 or 11 on it :)

Math there were 2 or 3 problems I wasn't sure about

I'm hoping that I got over a 700 on math and over 600 CR... I know I did horrible on CR

wait, are you sure one of them had 34....im prtty sure both had 35, unless im going crazy

if anyone took the test in june as I did, i feel that the math was much much easier. I left one blank and it was a fill in. CR was a little more difficult as was writing, but the essay was fine.

"AH! Shoot... I know I did MUCH MUCH better on my 2nd one... crap... hopefully they dont choose the first... x_X"

I thought the first one was easier....
I was hoping the 2nd was the experimental one.

I don't think I omitted any for the 1st one, but I know I did for sure for the 2nd one.

Ahhh, math sucked this time, well at least to me. Everything was fine until the last section.

I guess I differ from most of you because I thought the writing sections were the easiest, and then math, and then critical reading.

Some of the CR was easy, but some passages really threw me off.

yea man^ the first one was wayyyy easier. People who had one long witting what was the passage correction? We could figure out which one is experimental like that

i did NOT do as well as i should've on the essay...

math was weird. predominantly very easy and just a tiny amount of medium and hard. the short math section screwed me. i just didn't know some of the answers/questions

i can never tell how i did in writing or CR but i know the vocab was really hard... :(

i took both the may and october, and i can say that the october one was considerably easier. i just got lucky with the essay (reallllll smooth), and all of the sections werent too bad at all. ^_^

yup i've taken may and oct. this one was easier (except i didn't do as well as i should've on the essay) and i was more prepared.

O god... i am sick today and i had to take it in 70% capacity. However, i think i pulled off a 2000 and hopefully a 2100. I am definitely retaking tho. As for the test itself, i had problems with the essay for some reason.

Yeah, I skipped like 2 vocabs, but I found the math easier this time.
Hoping to break 1900 or 2000 (got 1890 the first time around).
It didn't seem that hard or stressful, but Collegeboard always seems to make you feel all secure with their easy questions on the SAT Question of the Day, and then they own you on the test.

The only thing that is boosting my confidence right now is how I heard a bunch of kids talking about how they got 1500s the first time, and how pleased they were with them. We CCers have too high of expectations, and we keep passing them on. It's time for people to just hate on the SAT and how arbitrary it is.

yeah i though math was wayy easier this time

I thought some writing questions rather tricky... i got quite alot of E choices. like 3-4 I think? anyone else got that?

yeah me too

but then i think that that's not too much. it was toward the end of the set where i kinda got 3 E's

haha

I'm talking bout Es in the identifying sentences part...are we on the same page?

yeah the Identifying Sentence errors

that section is always a *****, you ALWAYS think there is no other possibility and your answer MUST be right, than u end up with a 550. Than when there is no error you go into panic and recheck the question 6times

I thought both 25 minute writing portions (one of which was an experimental for me) had 35 questions as well...unless, like some-dude, I'm going crazy.

---in response to yummymango on the previous page

the math was pretty fair, just one or two questions. HOWEVER THE CR was a bit harder, but was still doable.

I took the May test and the one today and scored over 2000 on the May. I thought that this test was much easier than the May test. I struggled a little bit with the math section, but the essay prompt was easier and the writing section was more straightfoward. I thought the CR wasn't bad at all.
