Looks like Im taking it in May............ (Nooooo) who else is ready? Not ready? has AP exams the next day?

Ready for math and writing.

Getting ready for CR.

I’m not ready… It’ll be my last time with SAT… cheer L0lz…

Wish i will be as lucky as, if not more than, Jan SAT

is the embargo lifted ?

^ The test hasn’t been administered yet.

“is the embargo lifted ?”

I lol’d.

I hope the curve will be normal. After what I heard about Jan. and March curves, I’m not even hoping for a good curve. Haha.

Not Ready =

how can I get from 3-4 errors in W to <3??? I need some serious help in W to get to that. Time is not an issue anymore, but I just get stuck on q’s.

Also, for CR…is DH 1 and DH 2 enough for vocab. on any SAT? (can I get 19/19 if I know those books, or 18/19?). And what are some good ways to stay really ‘into’ the CR passages? I do much better when I’m 100% focused and determined. What can I do to get to this max. performance level?

Bleeding through vocab like crazy for CR. I have Writing down, and Math I’m hoping will finally hit over 750 because I know I can get it.

So irksome to come across a question that you don’t know what it means, or what the answers are due to vocabulary. UGH!

Same with me. There is nothing stopping me from getting 750-800 in Writing and Math, I just really hope I perform well there. CR just depends on how SUPERB a day I am going to have (optimism)!

I’m super nervous. I’d like for this to be my last time taking SAT I, although I’m not sure that will happen. I’m feeling pretty ready for CR and Writing (hoping for 700+ on each), but I’m very worried about math. I can’t seem to stop making simple mistakes!

Good luck to everyone!!! :)

for you guys who make <=3 errors in W, how do you do it? How do you crack the tough q’s? I’m stuck at 3-4 errors…wanna get to 2…and try to get >10 essay…what can I do?

Also, for CR…is there anything I can do last minute to prep?

Winging Math (Hoping for 680+)

Good as I’m going to get with Writting

Cracking down on 200 vocab words as I type:)

Hoping for the worst so I don’t get dissapointed lol

Hopefully I’ll do good this time, hoping on getting:
- 700+ on MATH
- 750+ on W
- 650+ on CR

Don’t worry to much on vocab, you guys spend way to much time… remember the easy trick: try to find out what the word means in the blank, and then use process of elimination. There is really no point in memorizing 1000 words just for 10 questions.

Good luck everyone, I won’t be around to consolidate answer lists this time lol.

I’m not feeling good about it either. Shocker! :)

Tomorrow, I plan to take a complete practice test (or just a few warm-up sections) from the BB. After that, I’ll relax and take a break for the rest of the day.

My biggest worry is whether or not I will feel rushed during the CR sections and the essay. As for the essay, I’m planning to just write like I would in a normal in-class essay; I hope my lack of more specific SAT essay preparation doesn’t cost me too much.

More importantly, good luck everyone! May the essay prompt(s) be friendly! :D

Do you get deducted for incomplete essays?

yea, let’s hope the essay prompt is a good one that we can all think of great examples for.

A quick question to those who are familiar with the SAT and have written before:

I have 100 more words to learn from DH Vol. 2. I definitely plan on studying these tomorrow. But, would doing perhaps all the CR sections and the 2 MC sections from a practice test be too much stuff to do the night before?

I know you want to have a relaxed night and not overwork your brain in advance = more mentally fatigued on test day even though you may not realize it…but how much is too much? How much is fine to do the night before/day before. I can memorize 20-25words on the bus ride in the morning and about 20 at lunch. So, i’ll be left with around 60 words to do at home after school.

Would it be overboard and unnecessary to do some CR sections and W sections? Or, let me rephrase the question. What else could I do without draining myself and stay 100% concentrated and mentally sharp on Saturday? (1 section of CR, W, and M too much)?

by this time tomorrow, I would be nearly FREEEEEEEEEEE … (regardless of the result =D)
But a bit nervous now, not ready…!
G’luck to those who need a high score for this MAY test the most, including me :))
Cheer!
