the pluto and the brazil ones are DEFINITELY with the diary imporving one. I know because I didn't have a writing experimental.

k the diary passage one was about some guy who didn't know whether to trust his instincts right? He said he met two new friends and didn't get a good impression of them at first and he turned out to be right? I may be confusing the passages

yup^ exactly.

Question about the diary passage:

When we had to combine the two sentences about how people often mistrust their
own instincts even though their instincts are right.....what was their answer?

I think I was deciding between A and C or something like that....

Can you give the answer choices?
I think you were referring to 33?

I ended up choosing C I , however, _

I also chose C but i cant remember the choices

What did people get for the improving paragraphs sec. "Which sentence if removed, will help strengthen the focus of the passage" or something like that.

I chose the sentence that mentioned how he kept getting cramps... does anyone else remember?

Yeah, I chose D? It ws to remove sentence 4 (hand cramps)

^Yeah that is what I chose as well and I thought I got all of the improving paragraphs right...

^isn't the improving pagraph easy this time? XD i love it

^It was super easy. I think the entire writing was easy, but I think I probably missed 1 or 2.

The answer for removing the sentence was obviously hand cramps. The paragraphs always want to involve as small a number of ideas as possible and hand cramps was a completely new (and pointless) idea.

What was #33? the one that asked to revise a sentence.
A was Because ___, I chose to ignore it.
C was... I _, however, _________

it was 31 i think..combining 2 sentences

I really don't think Brazil one is redundant since the first one mentions its population and second mentions its size geographically.

And i think i put "out of" for number 2
it didn't quite make sense

Hey what do you guys think an 11 essay with 3 wrong is? Thanks

740-760 I believe

Has the question about Standing in or standing ON Persepolis been resolved yet?

This is about the essay. Do the readers really look of accuracy of information when they read your essay. For example I used Cry, the Beloved Country as an example and I referred to Kumalo as the father, and Stephen Kumalo as the son (when it should have been Absalom) Is that all right? Also how important are conclusions. I didn't have enough time so I just kind of summed everything up in one sentence.

No one is going to do fact checking on your essay. Seriously... no worries there. Missing a conclusion is huge. They'll def. lower your score (prob. not consciously, but nonetheless it has an effect on the reader) just because the essay is incomplete. Get a typical 5-paragraph essay down...
