Of these three Ivies, which is most focused on its undergrads?

Particularly in the biological sciences, is Harvard, Yale, or Columbia most focused on its undergrads? Which one is most accommodating for undergrads when it comes to research positions?

Yale..........

Heh, Princeton, Dartmouth, Brown. Lol. But if you're set on those three, then I'd have to agree with Yale.

Yale is terrible in the sciences...I say Columbia...

Dartmouth.........

Yale as an institution is the most focused on undergrad teaching but I can't comment on the bio department. Columbia's core will eat up about 1/3 of your undergrad class schedule. Harvard has a rep for sink-or-swim advising and for many profs being aloof...I imagine that if you manage to connect with a good bio prof that some good research opps might open up.

I'd say that Princeton and Dartmouth are the most undergraduate-focused Ivies. Both have great bio programs and on-campus research opportunities, but Princeton's on-campus research is better because they have a larger graduate program. Dartmouth, on the other hand, can offer better internship opportunities because of the D-plan.
Some info about Princeton's bio dep: http://www.eeb.princeton.edu/UNDERGRAD/Intro.html .
Dartmouth: http://www.dartmouth.edu/~biology/undergrad/ . If you graduating with a bio major from either school, you'll have very high chance of getting into the med school of your choice.

Columbia is very strong in the sciences, but it has WAY too many grad students for it to be very undergraduate focused. I'm sure you could fight for some opportunities there, and do great, but it might be more difficult. I wouldn't say Yale is terrible in sciences; it just isn't as known for its sciences compared to some of its other programs. I don't know as much about the big H, so I'll leave that to someone else.

Just go to Harvard...

Its Harvard...

Just because "it's Harvard" doesn't mean it would be the best fit. And it's certainly not as undergraduate-focused as some other options, which is what he's looking for. I think TheDad's assessment of Harvard sounds pretty accurate.
