<p>Yale as an institution is the most focused on undergrad teaching but I can't comment on the bio department. Columbia's core will eat up about 1/3 of your undergrad class schedule. Harvard has a rep for sink-or-swim advising and for many profs being aloof...I imagine that if you manage to connect with a good bio prof that some good research opps might open up.</p>
