Off Campus Housing Advice

I'm a transfer student to GW, I was wait listed until about two weeks ago. I am in a rush to figure out all the details with the school, and living situations. I was told most juniors and Seniors live off campus, I am not sure that is true. I am looking for advice on what the better living situations are off campus, and where the cheapest rent is. I know that these two things will rarely coincide, or if maybe I should just try for student housing.I just feel under the gun here to get everything ready with a short amount of time before the move in date. Any help or input is welcomed.

Thanks Sophist

Go for student housing if you’re a transfer. Dorms are really nice and it’s a good way to meet people. Try for Ivory Tower. Off campus is a mix of students, professionals, and retired people. everyone keeps to themselves.

At this point, on campus options may have expired. If so, a lot of people live in the Statesman and Claridge House. A cheaper option is Empire, but it’s kinda a POS.

Good luck!
