Off Campus Housing

Is it at all possible for a sophomore to get his or her own apartment off campus at Drexel? The site says sophomores are allowed to live in "university approved housing." I would like to live off campus as early as possible and would appreciate a response from anyone familiar with the system. Thank you!

bump…

It’s possible, you just have to figure out which properties are considered “approved” (I know UCross and Chestnut Square are “affiliated,” and are fairly inexpensive compared to the residence halls), and figure it out as early as possible. Personally, I’m living in one of the residence halls for my sophomore year (minus co-op), but I know a fair number of people who aren’t.

Thank you! I live far from campus, is there a list somewhere of “approved properties”? Are they places where only students live?

No problem! Here’s a list! [University Approved Housing | Drexel Business Services](http://www.drexel.edu/dbs/universityHousing/assignmentPolicies/2YrsResReq/ApprovedHousing/)
