<p>Hi All,</p>

<p>I just got admitted into Brown’s graduate program in CS, and I’m very excited about moving to New England away from Southern California’s smog and traffic!
I am looking for a cheap place to rent starting this fall, and I’m absolutely clueless as to where to look for one. As I understand, Providence itself is a bit pricy, and I assume there are some towns outside the city area that can be much cheaper. Can anyone give me an idea? An ideal place would be anywhere between Providence and Boston, preferrably close to the rail line.

<p>check brown's reslife website...they have a list of apartments in the area that are availible for rent. For apartments outside of Providence, I have no idea.</p>
