Off-topic, bro

609 if you went from NJ to Chinatown we coulda passed each other along the road somewhere. Our GPS stopped working so we are pulled over on the side of the road trying to get it to work… Tomorrow I think I’m going to UNC-CH or Wake Forest, I forget.

Ahh, that’s slightly amusing. Heh. The restaurant We want to go to is closed so now (opens at 12) we’re in a random store waiting it out.

Spring Break= AP self study crunch time

@609: I agree self studying about 3 aps this year

Nice nice, only one for me this year. I did psych last year but I don’t wanna overload myself because I’m already taking 3 from school.

Self Studying is absolutely unheard of at my school, is it more common with you guys?

I went on a couple New England road trips back to back, the second one with my mom was a bit of a disaster because the GPS broke.

No APs for me this year.

It’s sorta common. Mostly people in AB self study BC, almost all 100 students in Honors Physics self study AP Physics B. About ~4 selfstudy psych. A couple do APUSH. I’m probably the only one doing enviromental.

My school has like 2850, my class has 690

Yeah. I used to think only geniuses post on here… Then I realized that there are probably a lot of normal kids who take only a few AP’s, or none at all. I mean, I’m probably ranked 150/690(school doesn’t send rank though)… around a 2000 SAT. Nothing spectacular.

@609- yeah, the white guy-asian girl thing is really, really common. I have no idea why. Yay, Chinatown! Did you get bubble tea? It’s so good! :)

The only bubbletea I get is from Princeton. Has anyone been there?

I’m a sophomore, and there aren’t really any APs offered for sophomores and I was not about to self study any. I mean I can fit in all the ones I want to take junior and senior year.

I’ve been to Princeton, it’s gorgeous.

609 your school is huge! I don’t know of anyone self studying APs and I go to a really competitive high school. There are a lot of geniuses on here, but I don’t think I’m one of them. If I had to guesstimate I’m probably ranked like 15/190 or something. I’m glad we don’t have ranks, I think things would get pretty intense.

My school doesn’t even internally rank anymore, it switched over to deciles. We still have val/sal though,

Princeton is gorgeous, most definitely. I try to go there every week. The food is awesome. If anyone goes there for a visit, let me know I’ll meet you. Heh.

I went there for boarding school visits, and hopefully if I get in I’ll be there for revisits.

Heh. Princeton is really, really gorgeous. Still thinking about bubble tea… sighs

On an unrelated note, 609 you can play ukulele? That’s so cool! i’ve always wanted to learn a string instrument.

@helloel which boarding school? Lawrenceville, Peddie?

Yep, both.

The Hun school is the only one located in Princeton itself that I can think of. Ahh, I have froends that go to Peddie.

Me too! no way! I went to peddie’s open house.
