Offcial 2012 AP US Government and Politics Thread

I heard this is supposedly one of the easiest AP tests so not even going to try to cram… I had a 98% in the class all year hopefully that’ll be good enough.

But re: court cases, if you know what it was about (free speech, incorporation, affirmative action, states rights) is that good enough? Or do you have to know every single detail about the case itself?

@dreamer I think that’d be fine for the court cases. I know on a free response before they asked you used court cases as the example but I don’t think knowing every detail of cases would be necessary.

Does anyone have a recording CSPAN “Cram Session” from Saturday?

you can watch it here

My AP gov teacher said we could outline are FRQs… is this true?

grading scale anyone?

I’m asking for a recording on this previous Saturday of 2012 “Cram Session” from CSPAN for Government AP

Test tomorrow.
I don’t think I’ll do that good (I didn’t have time to study much), but I’ll just review my notes from the course and do a few review things tonight. Hopefully I’ll get at least a 3. :D

I’m pretty much screwed for tomorrow. Just reviewing from PR and some notes… hopefully it’ll get me a 3 or above

pbojkner: i think 86/120 is a 5, 70/120 is a 4, and 49/120 is a 3

About 66/120 seems to be a 3. 82/120 a 4. 5 is somewhere in the mid 90s. For the 2002 exam it was 96 but 2009 was 93.

^
It changes every year.

does anyone have a good cram sheet?

I got 57/60 for the mc on the 2009 practice; it almost seemed a little too easy if you know what I mean…Hope I can achieve that mc score tomorrow

and I got 56/60 for the 1999 practice. Aaah, I hope everything goes well tomorrow
