<p>hi im phil. i went to a crappy rural public school in northern virginia. i played varsity baseball and golf and worked for an engineering firm while not playing sports. i was TSA president, and competed in competitions for all that stuff. I dont enjoy reading, or english, but i won the math and science departmental awards at my school so it all evens out (the teachers have basicly told me this already). i enjoy relaxing and learning new stuff. i enjoy watching the news and learning about what is happening in the world. I guess you could say that i am a pretty normal 17 year old.</p>

<p>hi, my name is rahim. I was born and raised in Atlanta, but moved to canada with my family in the 10th grade. this has widely been regarded as the worst decision of my life. I used to play baseball and tennis, but after 2 shoulder surgeries, i've had to give that up. I'm currently president of the JCL for washington and british columbia, but i dropped latin in september (go figure). i'm a squash national champion in the US, but not in canada. i'm a huge sports nut, i know almost everything about every sport and spend a lot of time watching ESPN. other than that, i'm pretty average i guess.</p>
<p>hi, i'm sylvia... i'm a first generation immigrant from china. public school on long island, so it's pretty competitive. love art, PHOTOGRAPHY (!), violin, and of course science, as i applied to pratt. in school i do all those math/science competitions, as well as WE THE PEOPLE, this really neat constitution team (our school went to nationals for the past two years) and some other clubs. outside of school, I do orchestra and research. research has really impacted my life and probably is the most impressive part of my app.</p>
<p>OH, AND I LOVE BASKETBALL!!!!!! SAN ANTONIO SPURS has rocked my life since 1999. I'm currently getting into NCAA and Duke. :)</p>

<p>I'm Megan (don't let the name mislead you- I'm Asian), and I go to a pretty non-decent private school in the middle of nowhere, Georgia. I'm an eccentric nut-- a debate nerd, science enthusiast, newspaper writer, and spanish speaker. When I'm not working on those above activities (har, let the senioritis commence!) I'm either fine tuning my lethargy or working at a brand name clothing store some of us know and love. I'm a music aficionado who listens to a slur of 80's music, alternative (love the new Green Day CD) or one of my favorites, The Used. I'm not athletically inclined, but I do like to run (recreationally). In my spare time, I like to make up strange names for my animals and assign each of them a distinct, nasal-y voice. Hence, I'm a pretty big dork. I'm also in a love affair with a little school known as Duke.</p>

When I'm not dancing, working, or doing english work, I'm probably watching sports. I'm a girl who watches sportcenter every single night, yet can't seem to find a boyfriend. We'll save that for another day. Baseball...go Yankees. I am a diehard Yankee fan, so if you like the Red Sox...pssshhh. College Basketball...go DUKE...duh. Football...Go Bills. Yess.
