Man, so many EDers have already found out already! WHY MUST DUKE TORTURE US SO.

lol... i am going crazy... this is going to be the longest half a week of my life.

I wish that I had willpower and could wait a few extra days to open the letter instead of seeing my decision online. I don't, of course, so the 15th at 6pm, here I come!

Good luck Duke ED'ers!

~ The Georgetown Board!

GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL TOO!

well when we get the letters in the mail we will know.. big = accepted... small = deferred/rejected

are we sure that that will be the case? Some schools don't send the big envelopes until after the acceptance letter. Or is it that in our case, they're sending the financial aid stuff at the same time?

Duke does the big envelope...atleast last year they did, and I doubt they're changing. Umm...I'm waiting for the letter. lol. I'm just gonna check out of CC tuesday night so I'm not tempted by you all and your decisions:)

You guys are so lucky that you can differentiate between envelopes! For Georgetown, both acceptances AND deferrals are in the exact same envelope, so there's no way of knowing until you actually read the letter!

haha good idea

lol.. is that what they told you guys at georgetown? that kinda stinks. a girl at my school applied ea to georgetown and is freaking out waiting haha. she said that they do nothing online, its all old fashioned.

Good luck Duke ED-ers!
~the Stanford board

lol, it's like sending and receiving holiday greeting cards.

Does anyone know when they're mailing out the decisions? 13th, 15th, later?

I just want to be prepared!

thanks once again. right back at ya!

personally, i think i would rather have duke send the decisions in the same envelope. think of walking in the front door and seeing the small envelope on the ground through the mail slot...where's the suspense? i don't think i'd even bother opening it.

if i live in NY, there is no way I'll get the letter before 6 PM on wednesday, right? :(

i don't think that duke is even mailing the letters until the 15th, rite? that's what the email said anyway, that they'd mail the letters in the 3rd week of december.

never mind then, i thought maybe they'd mail it by monday or so.
